Tarmac Building Products Ltd Environmental Performance Summary

 

Through our Environmental and Energy-Greenhouse gas policies (2010) we commit  to meeting reduction targets for energy use, greenhouse gas emission, mains water consumption and waste to landfill expressed as values per tonne of production.

 

o        Energy (kWh/tonne) 25% reduction between 2004 and 2014

o        Carbon Dioxide (kg/tonne) 15% reduction between 2004 and 2014

o        Mains Water (litres/ tonne) by 45% reduction between 2004 and 2012

o        Waste to landfill (kg/tonne) by 75% reduction between 2004 and 2012.

 

The table below summarises the provisional cumulative values achieved for each of the four main TBP product groups for the first half of 2011 and the overall values for TBP, which are compared with equivalent values from 2004.
