TermoDeck Engineering Service.

TermoDeck employs qualified building services engineers with wide ranging skill sets to help you achieve a competitive low energy building that will operate efficiently long into the future.

Our established UK based team has worked on a wide variety of TermoDeck buildings for over 15 years.  We also work closely with the TermoDeck International Ltd who develop and promote the TermoDeck products across Europe and the rest of the world. Together, we exchange our collective expertise and experience in designing / installing and monitoring TermoDeck systems in widely varying climates, building types and client functions.

Our UK team has helped pioneer low energy design since 1991 and continues to play an integral part in the building services sector.  Our team has been actively participating in the development of many CIBSE publications over the past two decades, including both the current, and the forthcoming CIBSE Environmental Design Guide A.  Additionally, for the past ten years we have participated in REHVA (Federation of European Heating Ventilating, Air Conditioning Associations) in collecting and disseminating low energy HEVAC technology and experience across Europe, including the UK.  We have also supported the development of the latest release of iSBEM with the Building Research Establishment (BRE).

Our team of specialist engineers is on hand to support external professionals on key early design decisions for possible TermoDeck projects.  We have extensive experience and can advise on critical low energy / environmentally sensitive design issues, including the interaction of the building’s envelope design, i.e. its shape, orientation and construction materials with the alternative building services strategy, including the optimum HEVAC plant selection and controls.

The earlier in the design process that TermoDeck is involved, the easier it is to incorporate, therefore we would recommend our engineers attend the early design meetings.  They will only give you an honest and professional opinion of how viable the system is within your design, and help you to scope out the potential cost and energy savings of using the TermoDeck system.

Once chosen, TermoDeck engineers will work with you through feasibility, design, construction, commissioning and assist your architects / engineers in monitoring the whole building’s annual operation, long after the project is finished. TermoDeck will also provide a warranty for the performance of the TermoDeck system against the original design specification and thermal models to give you confidence and peace of mind.
