Post Build Monitoring Service
Following handover, TermoDeck engineers will remain with your building for a minimum of two years ensuring both comfort and energy consumption is optimised.
Our engineers are well trained in navigating building management systems and their first priority will be to validate the operation of all associated plant and control functions serving the TermoDeck system. This service provides design consultants and commissioning teams with further reassurance that the heating and ventilating systems are commissioned correctly and operating in accordance with the description of operations.
During the first year of operation, fine-tuning of the TermoDeck control set-points is essential, as is a thorough check of the response of the heating and ventilation plant. The British climate presents differing challenges through the seasons and each building and associated computer-controlled management system will respond uniquely.
There can also be minor differences between the mathematical model of the building and the real building, which may require corrective measures via the building management system. With Client permission, TermoDeck engineers dial into buildings with compatible building management software to review comfort conditions, plant operation and energy consumption. Data gathered remotely can reduce response times and is an essential discussion tool at performance review meetings.
As facilities personnel and building maintenance regimes change over the years, our monitoring service has been well utilised by our Clients and some of our oldest projects still benefit from remote health checks and occasional re-tuning.
