TermoDeck offer a feasibility service for clients or design teams in the early stages of planning a new building. We can quickly assess if TermoDeck can be integrated into the proposed building and what the benefits will be. We offer this service at risk to enable our system to be evaluated against alternatives and enable comparisons of comfort, environmental, cost and energy to be assessed.
By using our dynamic thermal simulation tools we can help with a number of issues such as building shape and form, structural design, solar shading, glazing properties and mechanical services strategy, design and plant selection.
Our engineered feasibility study will not only provide detailed comfort and energy analysis, but also help provide the platform needed for the design team to develop the building design and services concept. ermoDeck can be applied to a wide range of buildings including offices, educational, utility, public buildings and retail but every building needs to be assessed on its own merits. Therefore, our engineering team with their extensive knowledge of building services and low energy design will always provide you with an honest assessment of your project. In practice we have found that the most suitable buildings are over 500sqm, require good levels of fresh air and a good balance of energy efficiency and temperature comfort.
