Many Multi Use Games Area sports pitches consist of a permeable base, usually of macadam, laid on a resilient shock pad and then covered with a sports carpet. Topsport reduced-fines Type 1 is the ideal free draining material to produce the shock pad and support the engineered base.
Topsport can also supply the dressing sand which fills the interstices between the carpet fibers to produce a regular playing surface with consistent ball bounce.
