Topsport's Loksand System comprises a suite of Topsport's traditional sand-based products, including rootzone growing media, reinforced with unique crimped polypropylene fibres.For turf or sand surfaces that require enhanced structural strength, Loksand provides increased internal cohesion, while also increasing the surface bearing capacity to give greater resistance to foot traffic and wheel loading.

Loksand benefits
Used in it's concentrate form, Loksand can be ameliorated on site with the indigenous soil to produce a reinforced rootzone capable of resisting compaction and promoting air passage and water passage to the grass roots. Fibre-reinforced silica sand can also be used to produce a stabilised free-draining surface suitable for horse ménage and trotting arenas. Hoof penetration into the sand surface is reduced to produce a firm yet forgiving surface.

Loksand applications
The resultant mixes are very stable, offering resistance to deformation in high stress areas including sports pitches, landscaping and grass access roads. In fact any turf or sand surface which requires enhanced structural strength will benefit from a Loksand product.
